I guess I'll start...
My name is "officially" Beth,and I am a long time Democrat,long-time nurse,and basically a long-time rabble-rouser.I am so grateful to have my online friends in the progressive world as an outlet,as I live in an area with an 80% Republican Tea Party evangelical Christian base.....so,my "friends" are you all.I had brain surgery about 2 months ago,but am getting back to my old self again(don't know if that's good or bad),and can't wait to get back to work(when the docs finally let me).Turning 50 was a tough year for me...but things are looking better on the horizen....Thanks for your friendship.

That's so funny! Very glad you're here. Wishadoo hasn't been "blasted" yet...we're waiting on a few programming tweaks before a full launch, so you're here at the very beginning.

I'm from the Bay Area. I joined some time ago but it seemed like there wasn't much activity. I've decided to make some activity because I like the Wishadoo concept and I like Dena - whom I've connected with on Facebook and Democratic Underground!

<3 likes this.Yep, went through a huge restructuring. The puzzle pieces are pretty much in place, and now it's time for the big launch with press releases and such.
Anything you and others can do on Facebook and other avenues to spread the word about Wishadoo!, I'd be most grateful! Grassroots is the way to go.
I'll be launching an email newsletter subscription in a few days as well, which hopefully people will use to spread the word.
You may want to join the California Group.

I've basically struggled throughout my life, but have always tried to give back to others and help them get back "on the right track" in their life, usually this ends up being a counseling/supportive role (Probably what I was meant to do professionally, but life got in the way of me going to school for it).
